As we all know, China has been trying to exert dominance over the world competing to undermine American influence. Chinas economy growing and military growing rapidly. The world just sits and watches. But nobody is hardly concerned because some facts are not being informed.
The American dominance in the world has come both at crucial moments of our democracy but also made us who we are. We have dominated the world momentarily and have not conquered anyone by the masses as one would assume with so much power. However, this global dominance and the results until now are the fabrics of the United States of America that are nurtured with a democratic standard of living. Where justice and freedom are enforced and civil rights are individually owned and protected by its government. So what does this mean in relation to China?. It means to highlight one important thing separating U.S dominance from China dominance. A pivot point to a potential interruption to the worlds standard of living and in politics.
The concern is not all based on the political spectrum of governance from both countries but rather the belief system and values both countries differ in how it can be perceived to use its power. In the U.S the % of the population with a designated religion they believe in the majority Christians and Catholics making up a bigger portion over other religions is a whopping 86%. The other percent dont believe in nothing. This is important to note as the basis of support and views from a government nurtured in this way of living.
China on the other hand has a population that only 16% of its population have religious beliefs. Meaning most of the Chinese population dont believe in anything. This can be a concern if we plan to allow them to exert a global dominance regulating their legal policy. Do we all want a country with no values in good or wrong ruling the world? are we really okay with that?
